I'm hoping yes but does anything beat Concluding Fantasy in this regard? From that franchise, stuff like Knights of the Circular, Supernova, Eden from FFVIII, Ark from FFIX

Anima or Magus Sisters overdrive from FFX

Playable character or dominate move doesn't matter, though let's say ignore cast timers so an MMO boss standing effectually waiting for you to burn him down earlier casting a wipe doesn't count. Also something that takes place during a normal playable encounter, not some version of an assault that but happens during a cinematic.

Many ultimate attacks from SRW are very long. Neo Granzon's Shukutaiho, for example,, is nearly 2 min long.

Dygenguard'south Zankanto Ikki-Tosen is about 1min 40s.

Information technology probably doesn't actually count, merely I've had some weird builds in Binding of Isaac where a unmarried press of the attack button would take blasts of tears continuing on the screen for over a infinitesimal/possibly multiple minutes had a I just let it continue.

Cool, I never got Ark and hadn't seen it before. That said, it's ridiculous that it doesn't pause the 9999 limit different Eden or Knights of the Round. You'd rely on Omnilash and the like a lot more, I'm non certain about the alternatives in IX.

It was overnice that, in Ten, yous could abridge Anima's attack and still deal 1+ million impairment in a single hitting, or only use Yojimbo one time to obliterate Penance.

You're right, I didn't really know that. I remember IX feeling very unlike. I am unfamiliar with the details on FFI-VI, so IX seemed... weak, equally in party stats being comparatively low throughout the game compared to what it was like in VII and Viii.

I but read that Ozma'southward HP is around 55k (I got to fight it back in the 24-hour interval simply never defeated it), in dissimilarity to Emerald Weapon with ane million (which I did defeat on my own! Likewise every bit Ruby Weapon), so it makes sense.

EDIT: Yeah hither it is. I don't know how long y'all can go along it going for since some bosses have a cap and other enemies would eventually run out of health. I feel like Mario & Luigi Dream Squad could be closer to some of those Terminal Fantasy examples, because both you and the enemies would do these elaborate attacks where y'all have to do button prompts running over a never-ending cilinder.

The giant bosses could exist on the slower side sometimes too.

Edit: On second thought, maybe it'southward not that they were that long but the fact that yous needed to do/lookout something so elaborate so many times for each boxing.

Single attack? Worldwide-version of Supernova from FF7 easily. Information technology was very different assault in Japanese version in terms of length of the assail and damage type. No idea why they decided to make information technology longer for an assail that tin can't even kill you.

Because they could. And supernova was very much a lethal attack. While information technology may not KO yous immediately, between the confusion status consequence and Sephiroth's assault speed, it could cause a wipe pretty chop-chop.

I saw the Title and immediately thought Sephiroth's Super Nova. I don't retrieve seeing a longer one (on the games I've played, of course). That attack is so long, I remember the commencement time I saw, thinking the Asteroid was gone hit the party, and then, then I understood the name of the attack. Such an crawly moment, although long.

Supernova is cool to see the kickoff fourth dimension, and so just aggrivating when he spams information technology over and over once again. It actually should have just been like a one time attack or something.
