Due to the over-powering excitement surrounding Windows Telephone 7 (and not besides long after the Uk Hackathons), there are ii competitions being ran, both student just and an incentive programme that is open up for all (inside the Great britain it seems). If you're lucky enough to be a student, you are allowed to enter both programmes with the aforementioned WP7 app - pretty nifty.

To enter the educatee competition, all that is required of you lot is to successfully publish an app in the WP7 Market, email ukstucom@microsoft.com with your publisher name, app championship coupled with a screenshot and they practise the residuum. Requires about no endeavour on your part. Should you win this competition, you lot could find yourself challenge a Microsoft LifeCam Testify and/or Windows Phone vii t-shirts in each round of the contest (six rounds full), while 1 of the six winners (one from each round) will win the grand prize of a HTC 7 trophy! If you lot thought it couldn't get any meliorate, call back again. For the incentives programme (open up for everyone), where the team is looking for both original and unique applications, there is a massive line-up of prizes to be won. Xbox 360 consoles, LG 22" LCD TVs, Samsung Home Theatre packages and more. This huge Xbox 'Quick Resume' update will give gamers more control

Microsoft is adding a new feature to Xbox consoles, allowing you lot to permanently store upwards to two games in a Quick Resume state at all times. The feature is heading out first to Xbox Insiders in the Alpha testing band earlier hitting the general public.
